Zipline Adventure

Bosque is proud to offer our Zipline Adventure as an exciting onsite activity. The tour begins with a short hike to our Tropical Garden and the first of 4 platforms and 3 ziplines! After you receive safety instructions from your guide, the excitement begins when you are suited up in a harness, gloves & helmet, and connected to a pulley that will allow you to zoom through the rainforest. The tour consists of 3 different steel cable ziplines with lengths of 160’, 220’ and 120’. This thrilling ride gives you the sensation of flying through the trees as you ascend and descend 4 different platforms. The last zip line gently deposits you onto the deck of the tree platform, which is situated 110+ feet up in an enormous Ajo tree. You will be able to view the forest in a completely different way, as you observe from the canopy layer of the rainforest. You may see up close the beautiful air orchids (epiphytes) that grow only in the tops of the huge, old-growth trees, get an eye level view of a monkey troop passing through the branches, or observe an anteater napping in the fork of a tall tree. The tour ends with a rappel down to the forest floor, assisted by well-trained and safety conscious guides. Children with maturity to follow directions are welcome. Please wear closed toe shoes and tie long hair back.

$70/person (+ tax); tour can be in the morning (9am) or afternoon (1:30pm); 1.5 hours, approximately (depends on size of the group); this tour can be combined with Tree Climbing ($100/person for combo tour).
