Sloth Garden

La Perica Sloth Garden is a family-run forest preserve near Puerto Jimenez (in La Palma, 10 minutes from PJ) with easy trails and a very high concentration of sloths. The Valverde family guide their guests to see sloths and other animals and birds that pass through. The tour finishes up with homemade empanadas, sugar cane juice and fresh fruit. This is a delightful way to support local tourism and have a wonderful experience.

$60/person/2.5 hour tour (+taxes and transportation); children under 5 years old are free, children 6-8 years old are half price.
