Some of the most beautiful and special parts of Bosque del Cabo are the grounds. When Bosque was first purchased, the grounds were dotted with cleared areas from previous farms. Most of those cleared areas have been left to regenerate into forest. However, there are about 8-10 acres of land that we have converted into a small botanical garden. Our gardens showcase many species of bamboo, heliconia, palm, ginger, and banana plants. The gardens have also been planted with native fruit trees. Anyone interested in tropical flora will be delighted to wander around the grounds. Our gardens are also home to many species of birds (including many different hummingbirds), butterflies, and iguanas. We also have planted and cultivated a much more extensive and formal botanical garden on our grounds. We hope to add nametags with the common and scientific names of the plants in the near future.
The above link takes you to a very extensive page of photos. The download is lengthy but it is well worth the wait to see this tropical paradise. The fotos are stunning. Thanks to all who contributed.
